Just a few funnies from our day. This morning after dropping B & K off at school, Aaron and I drove by a large backhoe hard at work. Mounds of dirt were piled everywhere on a busy construction site. Aaron said, "Mom, are they digging for worms?" Ha ha!!!
After school I asked Braylen what he made in art class today. He didn't bring anything home--I just know he has art on Wednesdays. He said, "We made self-portraits. I mean...FUNNY self-portraits." I bit my lip and said, "Is there a difference?" I don't know why this topic cracked me up so much. I guess because I've seen kids' self-portraits and they ALL crack me up. I can only imagine what a funny one looks like. :)
Finally, tonight at bedtime Aaron was quite the chatterbox. He had many questions, and I've saved the funniest one for my blog. Aaron laid down on his side and said, "I don't get it. How come when I lay down, and have my eyes open...how come they don't fall out?"
