Allowing our sons to be the young men God made them to be, yet doing our best to train them in the ways they should go.

Short & Sweet
While shopping at Walmart today, my youngest son gave me another funny comment in the maxi pad aisle. While looking at a drawing of Kotex's latest and greatest maxi, Aaron reached for the package and said, "Mommy, is this a slip-n-slide? Can we get it? I need a new slip-n-slide!" Oh my, I haven't laughed like that in a while. Of course when I told him it wasn't a slip-n-slide he wanted to know what it was. Once again I told him it was for grown-up ladies and that was all he needed to know. I think I will always think of maxi pads as slip-n-slides now. :)
